Other Animals

Mammals, reptiles, insects and crustaceans that share Seberang Perai’s mangroves, rivers and fields.
The wetlands of Seberang Perai are not only for birds. Smooth-coated otters hunt along the rivers and coast, long-tailed macaques and plantain squirrels move through the trees at the forest edge, and leopard cats and Asian palm civets come out after dark. Lizards, the dog-faced water snake, butterflies and the mud spiny lobster complete a busy, shared habitat.
